The Colombian Supremo is a very mild coffee with good body and acidity. It has a fruity-floral finish, with a hint of spiciness, and is very well balanced. The Huila growing area is in the southwestern part of Colombia. These areas, and their sub-regions, are the source for the best Colombian coffees, which can have some vivid complexities to accompany the basic cup profile. Huila coffee is grown be-tween 3,500 and 5,000 foot elevation in the Andes mountain range. “Supremo” describes the bean size as Supremo beans are 17 or 18 screen size. UTZ certification shows consumers that products have been sourced, from farm to shop shelf, in a sustainable manner. To become certified, all UTZ suppliers have to follow our Code of Conduct, which offers expert guidance on better farming methods, working conditions and care for nature.
