2 Tbsp. of Mulling Spice will spice a 750 ml bottle of red wine or 1/2 gallon of apple cider.
To make mulled apple cider, simply mix 1/2 gallon of apple cider with 2 Tbsp. of Mulling Spices (tied in cheesecloth or put in a large tea strainer). Bring the mix to a boil, cover pot and simmer for about 1/2 an hour.
To make mulled wine, mix a 750 ml bottle of red wine (Cabernet, Zinfandel, or Merlot are good choices), 1 peeled and sliced orange, 1/4 c. Brandy, 1/3 c. honey or sugar, and 2 Tbsp. of Mulling Spices (tied in cheesecloth or put in a large tea strainer), in a large pot and gently warm for 20-25 min. Avoid boiling!
